注意事项：

国际学生申请需要提供TOEFL成绩，最低要求为530。同时学校还接受雅思成绩，最低6.0。

学校推荐信有单独的表格， 鼓励学生在线申请。

经济学Master接受本科非本专业申请，但是录取的时候比较喜欢有经济，数学和统计背景的申请者，注重这三门课程成绩。

学校经济学PHD一般喜欢接收Master学生申请，但如果本科毕业者，学习过相关课程，背景较强也可以录取。

学校的申请材料寄送有特殊要求，要求材料分开寄送。

点评：

University of Missouri–Columbia是美国一所老牌的公立大学，并且是一所研究型大学。综合排名和经济学排名都在全美TOP100内，属于物美价廉的大学。经济学提供研究生和PHD学位，录取要求不是太高，对中国学生比较友好。学校经济系目前有FACULTY 17名，其中有一名中国教授，还有一个亚裔。这跟学校对中国学生友好的态度是有一定关系的。学校的Graduate Students 75名，其中有15人为中国学生，而且每年都会有中国新生进入，充分说明了学校经济系对中国学生友好的态度。所以申请者如果成绩不是太好，建议申请这所大学。
