Basic Information We all like money—but some of us are better at handling it than others. If you’re one of those people who has a knack for turning one dollar into two, you might want to pursue graduate work in Finance. A graduate program in Finance will lead you all over the financial map—from economics to investments, from corporate finance to financial statement analysis. You’ll learn about risk management, how to manage a stock portfolio, and the world of futures and options. You’ll study financial theory, and the principles of both micro- and macroeconomics. You’ll learn basic financial modeling skills using programs like Excel, eventually progressing to more complex programs used by industry professionals.
