Dear Visa Officer ,

My application for a F2 visa to visit my husband was rejected four times by your visa officers. I understand that the visa officers have a responsibility to defend American public’s interest by refusing disqualified people from entering the United States. However, my situation is VERY VERY SPECIAL and this letter is to let you know this special situation and why should grant me a visa to see my husband. I am confident that after reading this letter, you will agree that refusing my visa is not reasonable nor is right.

My husband, Mr. Li Changjiang, is a young millionaire with a net worth of more than four million RMB (nearly half million in US dollars). He accumulated this fortune in just a few years by working as the sales director for “Lianxiang Bright”, an image processing software that covers more than 80% of Chinese graphics processing market (I bet the computers in your office must have this product installed. In fact, my husband literally entered the U.S. Embassy’s Commerce Section and personally installed a Lianxiang Bright for the office). His success story personified the economic miracle in today’s China as well as the opportunities for Chinese talented young people. For my husband, going to America to pursue a Master’s degree is only a most glorious way to spend his money to buy in a more lucrative future back to China where he had made his first bucket of gold. Refusing his wife a visa to visit him on the ground of insufficient funds or on immigration intention is far beyond the reasonable imagination.

I myself is another success story no less than what my husband has achieved in significance, if not in money. Graduated with a law degree from Peking University, I am the marketing manager for HP’s fax business at its China headquarters in Beijing for the last four years. I have been with HP’s fax’s business ever since it entered China in December 1993. To my immediate credit, HP sold more than 100,000 high quality faxes in 1996 with a revenue of 400 million RMB (about 50 million US dollars). I am the top Chinese marketing manager responsible for this huge success.

We have money, fame, job satisfaction, a very good life in Beijing, and best of all, a great expectation in China where we have had proven success during the last few years of Chinese economic boom. The United States in a land that we admire and are fascinated in, however, never ever in our minds had flashed a thought that we will abandon our great future in China where a new wave of golden opportunity is waiting for us to surf. I have to admit, though, in my dream I do want to have an American multiple entrance visa so I can easily travel to your country for business or for pleasure in the future and so to avoid the humiliation of being rejected again.

I have prepared necessary documents to support my previous statement. I believe that you will give me the visa to join my husband in the United States this time.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
