LLM的分类和各分类的信息

LLM分为General 和Specialized两种。 Specialized的课程种类比较多，比如Bankruptcy，Comparative Jurisprudence, Corporation Law, international Legal Studies, International Taxation, labor and employment Law, Taxation, Trade Regulation Law. 一般来讲LLM的申请是不象其他学科一样，在开始就要明确申请哪个分支的，因为几乎所有的学校在课程设置上几乎包括了所有他分支。比如The Chapman University School of Law的课程包括torts, contracts, criminal law, real property, constitutional law, civil procedure, evidence, federal income taxation, corporations, and ethics. 但是各个学校的法学院也会有在哪个领域的优势。比如American University侧重于International law, constitutional law, corporate laws, public interest law, feminist legal theory.
